UK members of FriendsF4R developed an exhibition following their first funded research project. In this exhibition we showcased stories and creations to challenge ideas people have about young disabled people and children.  This included the amazing achievements of those who took part as well as the challenges they face. For many children these are worsened by deficit attitudes and lack of understanding from adults. Here you can see some of the creations which included 3 films and avatars made by young disabled people. Images also had QR codes which enabled visitors to hear audio recordings from the children.

Members of UCan gave a presentation to attendees from the local authority and other local stakeholders before they engaged with the exhibition.
